Springbike had a stellar turnout at the March meeting to hear not only Larry O’Reilly speak about his 4,400 mile solo bike journey across the United States, but attendees were also treated to an impromptu presentation by pro-cyclist and Fair Grove native, Brad Huff. The route is from Billings to Hurley and back (approx. 25 miles) We will have a 40 degrees cutoff (or freezing precipitation, etc. Our destination is the W&W Cafe (great pies) in Hurley. We are moving the starting time to 1:00 p.m. to better fit in between our church goers and football fans. Meet at the Billings High School on the south parking lot. The route will be straight south to A and then east on A to Hurley. Ride organizer Ray Wageman predicts a great day for the Super Sunday Bike Ride. [Webmasters note: Looks doubtful to me with a forecasted high in the mid-20s. Ray also predicted great weather for New Years and it was the coldest day of the young Winter...] Meet at the Billings High School on the south parking lot. The 12.5 mile route will be mostly straight south to A and then east on A to Hurley.
