Our regular April 2008 meeting ...

featured Chris Baker from Cox Health who gave a great presention “How to Maximize your Training Efforts.” You can download Chris' PowerPoint file here. It's big (2.3 MB) so it may take a little while, but it's very informative!

Our meeting of February 12, 2007

ScottDespite checking earlier in the day, our meeting room was given to a kids birthday party. This was doubly sad since the turnout was quite good. Scott Davis (left) from Springfield Bike presented a program on gearing, shifting, and other bike maintenance. John Montgomery from the Ozark Multisport Club talked briefly about their upcoming events. Go to ozarkmultisportclub.org for more info.

Christmas Party 2006

Here is Tim handing out door prizes at the Christmas Party. We thank our generous local bike shops for all the great donated items! ...hope you didn’t miss it!

At the Christmas Party there was discussion about the route for next year’s Dogwood. While Tim doesn’t want to be remembered as the guy who changed the 25 year route tradition, it's becoming very inhospitable for cyclists along certain sections of the route.

Our Meeting of November 12, 2007

Josh Grossman and Pete Bermudez of A&B Cycles presented a very informative program on clothing for Winter Riding. The first meeting of 2008-2008 was very well attended with about 50 members pushing the limits of Bud and Walt’s in Nixa.
