Cycling Software

There are all kinds of programs available all over the web for many aspects of cycling.

I'll start it off here with three Excel spreadsheets.

The first one is a gearing sheet. It will graphically show you your range of gearing (in "inches") and the % change between gear changes. Bike_gearing.xls

The second is a speed calculator. It gives you speed for a given gearing, pedaling cadence, and tire size. Bike_speed.xls

The third is a grade calculator, which shows you the grade in % if you know the steepness in degrees. Bike_grades.xls
