Recumbents

They come in many forms, each with its own characteristics.

	Here’s an example of a long-wheelbase (LWB) over-seat steering (OSS) recumbent. It’s Terry Walden - often seen only from the rear! This thing and its rider really roll!
In the middle is a compromise, a short wheelbase (SWB) recumbent with OSS. It’s Nelson Parke and his Rans Vivo, equipped with an internal 14 speed rear gear.
	And here’s the bent opposite, a SWB under-seat steering (USS) recumbent...These guys are twitchy and the first 10 feet of a ride are often exciting. (It’s your humble webmaster, Dave.)
